Entry-Level Purchasing & Operations Coordinator (Contract) Location: Irvine, CA
Duration: Through January 2027 (with potential for permanent hire)

Our automotive client in Irvine is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Operations Coordinator to support a busy team with purchasing, invoice processing, data management, and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in finance, purchasing, and business operations within a corporate environment.

Responsibilities
Process Goods Receipt (GR) postings and related purchasing transactions.
Support Purchase Application (PA) processing and purchasing administration.
Assist with Purchase Order (PO) coding, tracking, and maintenance.
Perform a variety of purchasing support and transaction management activities.
Review purchasing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Provide administrative support related to invoices, purchasing, and goods receipt activities.
Maintain operational records and data within internal systems.
Assist with data entry, reporting, and general data management.
Support high-volume, process-driven workflows and recurring operational tasks.
Respond to daily requests and provide administrative support to the business operations team.
Ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
Some experience through internships, administrative support, purchasing, finance, accounting, or data entry preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to manage repetitive and high-volume transactional work with consistency.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other business applications.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
